ACLU of Michigan | Immigrant Rights Legal Coordinator (Detroit or Grand Rapids, MI) [$60,000 - $80,000]

The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan (ACLU) seeks an experienced immigration attorney or immigration paralegal to become the Immigrant Rights Legal Coordinator. The Coordinator will play a central role in the Immigrant Justice Partnership (IJP) – a collaboration between the ACLU and the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC). The Coordinator will be employed by and based at the ACLU, but will also work closely with MIRC. The Coordinator will be responsible for the ACLU’s immigration-related intake, including referrals to MIRC and other partners. The Coordinator will investigate complaints to identify opportunities for systemic litigation and advocacy statewide, and may also participate in such litigation and advocacy. In addition, the Coordinator will collaborate with ACLU staff in other departments to implement strategies that advance ACLU priorities and campaigns for immigrants’ rights. OUF.

Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. (ABLE) | Staff Attorney: Medical Legal Partnership for Children (Toledo, OH) [$68,000 - $102,000]

The Medical-Legal Partnership for Children (MLPC) is a joint initiative between ABLE and healthcare providers in Toledo, designed to improve children’s health by integrating legal services within pediatric care settings. The MLPC Staff Attorney will provide comprehensive legal assistance to families of pediatric patients, addressing diverse legal issues impacting low-income families. This role requires collaboration with healthcare providers, community organizations, and ABLE staff. OUF.

City of Chicago Department of Law | Assistant Corporation Counsel III, Affirmative Litigation (Chicago, IL) [$83,208 - $145,200]

The City of Chicago’s Department of Law is seeking an attorney for the position of Assistant Corporation Counsel III (“ACC”) to work in its Affirmative Litigation Division (“ALD”). ALD investigates alleged misconduct and files litigation to protect the interests of the City and its residents under the City’s consumer-protection ordinance and other laws. Apply by February 11.

The Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to use law and science to protect Minnesotaʼs environment, natural resources, and the health of its people. For 50 years, weʼve worked in the courts, at the legislature, and with public agencies to enact, strengthen, and enforce environmental law. The Chief Executive Officer is both the external and internal lead in the organization. The CEO sets the tone for the culture of the organization. The CEO acts as the primary spokesperson for the organization and regularly meets with external stakeholders including state policymakers, major donors to the organization, and members of the public. Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy | Legislative Director (St. Paul, MN) [$75,000 - $81,000]

We seek an experienced government relations professional who shares our mission, vision, and values, understands Minnesota’s environmental laws, and knows how to make change at the Minnesota Legislature. The Legislative Director works with MCEA staff to help create a strategic legislative agenda and is responsible for implementing that strategy at the Minnesota Capitol. We also seek to create greater engagement with our legislative agenda among our supporters. OUF.
